Solid Video Corporation was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 12, 1984 and became officially owned subsidiary of Solid Group, Inc. in 1996.

It started as a small department handling broadcast equipment sales, video production rentals and video duplication services and later evolved as the appointed distributor and service center of Sony Electronics Asia Pacific Pte, Ltd. for its broadcast and professional products in the country.  Through the years, it has successfully stirred itself to undertake project management, provide turn-key solution, and do outside broadcast van fabrication and services including integration and commissioning works.

The Company has wide market coverage catering major TV stations, rental companies, production and post-production houses, movie outfits, churches, medical institutions, schools, videographers, independent producers, government agencies, and corporations.  Aside from Sony brand, the company also carries established manufacturers such as Audio-Technica, Fujinon, Clearcom, Vinten, Klotz, Chyron, Desisti, Leader, Telescript, Playbox and Screen Service.
